QUICK CONNECT Pro Privacy Policy

1. Scope and controller

This policy applies to the QUICK CONNECT Pro mobile application for iPhone and Android and to the MoonSoft services it contacts. MoonSoft is responsible for operating the app and its authentication service. Your employer or business may also control the underlying point-of-sale records and decide who is authorised to access them.

The app is a companion to MoonSoft's POS products. It lets an authorised client view a dashboard and assigned Stores, check connectivity, maintain permitted market-rate settings, and request daily sales journal (PV journalier) PDF reports from an online Store desktop.

2. Information we process

Information stored on your device

Access and refresh tokens are stored using the operating system's secure credential storage. A PV journal PDF you open or download may be stored in the app's files or another location you select. You control copies saved or shared from your device.

Information we do not collect through the app

The app does not request precise location, contacts, photos, microphone, camera, health information or advertising identifiers. MoonSoft does not use QUICK CONNECT Pro data for behavioural advertising.

3. How we use information

• Authenticate authorised customers and maintain app sessions.
• Show the customer dashboard, assigned Stores and their connectivity state.
• Process user-requested Store refreshes, market-rate changes and PV journal reports.
• Provide support, diagnose errors, protect accounts and maintain service reliability.
• Comply with applicable legal, accounting, contractual and security obligations.

We process this information to provide the contracted service, follow your requests, protect the service and users, and meet applicable legal obligations. We do not use it for unrelated advertising or sell it.

4. Sharing and third parties

MoonSoft does not sell or rent personal information. Information is made available only as needed:

• Your organisation and assigned POS installation: requests and authorised settings are exchanged with the Store desktop that must fulfil them.
• Service providers: vetted hosting, infrastructure, email or security providers may process limited information for MoonSoft under confidentiality and data-protection obligations.
• Market-rate provider: the backend may retrieve public metal prices. We do not intentionally send your account identity or POS records to that provider.
• Authorities or transaction parties: information may be disclosed when required by law, to protect rights and safety, or in connection with a legitimate corporate reorganisation subject to appropriate protections.

Apple and Google process App Store or Google Play download and platform information under their own privacy policies. MoonSoft does not control that platform processing.

5. Retention and deletion

Information is retained; it is not discarded immediately after each app session. MoonSoft applies the following retention principles:

• OAuth tokens remain valid only until they expire or are revoked. Signing out asks the service to revoke the active session and removes tokens stored by the app.
• Account, installation, contract and business-setting records are generally retained while the customer relationship or account remains active, and afterwards only as needed for contractual, accounting, legal, dispute-resolution or security purposes.
• Command history, security logs and generated PV journal files are retained only for operational, support, audit and legal needs, then deleted or anonymised when no longer necessary.
• Deletion from active systems may not immediately remove protected backup copies. Backups are isolated and removed through the normal backup lifecycle.

Removing the app does not delete server records or files previously exported elsewhere. Deleting a mobile account also does not automatically erase POS records that your organisation must retain for business, accounting or legal reasons.

Requesting deletion

You or an authorised representative of your organisation may request access, correction or deletion by emailing contact@moonsoft-dz.com. Include the account username and organisation or Store name, but never send a password or access token. MoonSoft may verify identity and authority before acting. We will delete or anonymise eligible information and explain any information that must be retained.

6. Security

MoonSoft uses safeguards appropriate to the information processed, including encrypted HTTPS connections, OAuth 2.0 with PKCE, short-lived access tokens, securely stored mobile credentials, role- and scope-based access controls, private report storage, authentication monitoring and server access controls.

No system can guarantee absolute security. Protect your device and credentials, sign out on a shared or lost device, and promptly report suspected unauthorised access.

7. Your choices and rights

Depending on applicable law, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection or a portable copy of personal information. You may sign out to end the mobile session and ask your organisation or MoonSoft to disable the account. Some processing is necessary to provide the app; without authentication and assigned POS information, its core functions cannot operate.

For downloaded PDFs, use your device's file controls to delete local copies. If another application or person received a copy you shared, their handling is outside MoonSoft's control.

8. Children

QUICK CONNECT Pro is a business application for authorised users and is not directed to children. MoonSoft does not knowingly collect children's personal information through the app.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when the app, our practices or legal requirements change. The effective date above identifies the current version. Material changes will be communicated through an appropriate channel where required.
